SOWA goes viral!
Prototyping a new water treatment device at SPL.
Access to clean water is still a challenge for about half a billion people worldwide.
In the context of ETH Focus projects, team SOWA was actively working on designing and prototyping a novel water treatment device.
Apasōn, an autonomous solar powered system, able to purify water contaminated with dirt, heavy metals and microorganisms, is the outcome of nine months of research and dedication of the team at SPL.
