Prof. Marco Mazzotti receives the 2023 AICHE Area 2B Crystallization and Evaporation Award

Prof. Mazzotti gave a talk on “Solid-State Deracemization of Conglomerate-Forming Chiral Compounds” at the plenary session of the 2023 AIChE Annual Meeting held in Orlando, Florida. The session included talks from industry and academia on emerging developments in crystallization process development.

At the event, he was awarded the AICHE Area 2B Crystallization and Evaporation Award for his exceptional contributions to the field of crystallization and evaporation. This award is presented to individuals who have significantly advanced the science and technology of crystallization and evaporation, including the development of new processes, equipment, and materials.
